CHOREOGRAPHY
Having a background in dance I have explored my abilities in choreographing different styles of dance. While these dances were choreographed for stage, the videos may not be the best quality or most exquisite representation of my choreography, but I wanted to share them as they show a glimpse into my creative expression.
2016 'Save Me'
After completion of my senior year of high school I choreographed this piece to the song 'Save Me' by Drehz for the Dance Emphasis program at Pittsburgh Musical Theater. The choreography represents how powerful a resistance to conformity can be by challenging the motives of a like-minded society.
2018 Greek Dance Competition
As a member of Elon University's Greek Life, I co-choreographed, created, and ran Alpha Xi Delta's themed dance for three years. My sophomore year of college I choreographed along with Kelsey Kovacs and Shelby Rosenberg to create this Game of Thrones themed piece.
2019 Greek Dance Competition
As a member of Elon University's Greek Life, I co-choreographed, created, and ran Alpha Xi Delta's themed dance for three years. My junior year of college I choreographed along with Kelsey Kovacs, Samantha Berger, and Makenzie Kent to create this NASA themed piece promoting women's empowerment.
2020 'RockDaBox' & Covid-19
Prior to Covid-19 shutting everything down, I had also choreographed a dance for my dance team, Elon's Finest which we weren't able to perform because of event cancellations. Instead of letting the virus completely cancel what I have created, I decided to take my additional free time and use it to learn a video editing software. My teammates and I each recorded ourselves doing my choreography and I put it all together to showcase virtually.
With no end to the pandemic in sight, I am looking to do more projects like these. So, if you are interested in remote or in-person choreographic projects please contact me!
